ELT in Indiana

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles has been working on an Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) program for Indiana.  As of late 2014, the ELT program is awaiting internal project approval.

The ELT program changes the lien and title process for lenders (bankers, credit unions, dealers, and other financial institutions) as lenders no longer need to store and file paper titles.
